GOLF CLUB PADOVA
The Golf Club Padova lies in a valley at the foot of the Euganean Hills, very close to the town and just a few kilometres from Venice. The course is mostly on level ground with various water barriers; but the major difficulty is presented by the thick vegetation on either side, something blocking the view of the full length of the fairway. The greens are not two difficult because there is no great difference in height, except for the one at the ninth hole, but they require a delicate touch because of their smooth running and of the difficulty in judjing the best line to take.Regulars say that the course is entertaining for all levels of play. Also near the club is the spa resort of Albano with its excellent hotels, which is well-known because of the beneficial effects on rheumatic disturbances that may be obtained thanks to the hot spring water and to the mud treatment.

Comment read on the Peugeot Golf Guide
This is the neighbouring course to Montecchia, on flat terrain at the foot of the Colli Euganei, volcanic hills dotted with orchards and vineyards and the source of hot springs already appreciated by the ancient Romans. They spawned a number of spa resorts, including Abano Terme and others in the same region. This course, designed by John Harris is quality golfing and ideal for most players. A few water hazards have been dug out to collect some welcome earth with which to contour the course elsewhere, and are particularly dangerous from hole 5 to hole 8. The existing vegetation has been supplemented by many others trees and bushes, which are growing slowly but surely. The layout does not require any special skills and the best players might card a good score without being unduly tested. A rather short course, often busy on weekends (the clubhouse is huge with 15 guestrooms) and pleasant to play with all the family
