This is the neighbouring course to Montecchia, on flat terrain at the foot of the Colli Euganei, volcanic hills dotted with orchards and vineyards and the source of hot springs already appreciated by the ancient Romans. They spawned a number of spa resorts, including Abano Terme and others in the same region. This course, designed by John Harris is quality golfing and ideal for most players. A few water hazards have been dug out to collect some welcome earth with which to contour the course elsewhere, and are particularly dangerous from hole 5 to hole 8. The existing vegetation has been supplemented by many others trees and bushes, which are growing slowly but surely. The layout does not require any special skills and the best players might card a good score without being unduly tested. A rather short course, often busy on weekends (the clubhouse is huge with 15 guestrooms) and pleasant to play with all the family.
